Boys and Girls Bowling Lose Season Opener

On Monday, December 2, the boys and girls bowling teams lost to Buckeye Valley–ranked first in the conference–in their season opener. Craig E. led the boys and totaled 165 pins in the first regular game and 164 in the second, giving him a 329. His score was followed by Phinn B-M., who totaled 279. Mark D. tallied 259 to the team’s score, and Nathan M. added 239. Jon P. followed with 104, and Ted L. scored 84. The team tallied an additional 280 pins in the baker game, scoring 1574 but falling a major short of Buckeye Valley’s 1773.

The girls team, led by Morgan L. who scored 191. Emma M. added 170, and Sophie F. tallied 152. Amelia C. scored 142, and Lynn Y. added 127. The Vikes tallied 160 in the baker game and totaled 942 pins, falling to Buckeye Valley by 552.

The Viking’s next game is on Tuesday, December 10, against Bishop Ready, at RollHouse.
