On Sunday, October 13, boys golf began its state run at the Firestone Country Club. Alex S. paced the Vikes with a 76, while Ethan B. trailed three strokes. Krish B. shot an 86, followed by Gavin M.’s 87 and Jaxon C.’s 89. With a team score of 328, Academy sat in sixth-place after day one.

Early the next day, the Vikings looked to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, no one shot higher scores than the previous day, tallying a team score of 333. Totalling 661, Academy finished sixth out of 23 teams.

The team will conclude its season on Friday, October 18, by honoring its seniors at the football game.
