Field hockey had a light week, with just one match-up against New Albany, at home. The Vikings took care of business, beating the Eagles 2-1. The Vikes first goal came from a quick shot by Katie N. to beat the halftime buzzer. They found the net again in the second half when Caroline A. scored off an assist by Kendall O.

Academy, now 14-1-1, is heading into the final week of the regular season. They have an important matchup at Bishop Watterson on Wednesday, October 9. This clash will feature the second and third ranked teams in the state, respectively.

The Vikes will then conclude their regular season at Olentangy Liberty on October 10.
