The girls golf team traveled to The Links at Echo Springs on Wednesday, October 2, and captured its fourth district title in a row in only its sixth year as a program. Sophomore Eva L. led with a one over par 73. Following next was senior Caroline Z. with a 76. After that, came Meera S. with a 92 and Claire Z. with a 95. Rosemary J. finished with a 98; however, that score did not count towards the final tallie.
The top four scores totaled at 336, which gave the girls a 17-shot cushion to second place CSG. This victory gives the girls another state berth and inches them closer to securing their third state championship in a row. The girls will compete for the championship onSunday, October 13 and Monday, October 14.
