Boys Golf Heads to States

On Tuesday, October 2, boys golf traveled to Turnberry to compete in districts. Academy and Jonahthan Alder were neck-and-neck throughout the tournament, but the Vikings slid past the Pioneers by 3 strokes and finished with a team score of 312 to punch in a ticket to States. Alex S. led the Vikes with a 76 and placed second individually. Ethan B. trailed one stroke behind, shooting a 77. Krish B. earned a score of 79, while Gavin M. and Jaxon C. tallied an 80 and 84, respectively. 

Heading to State has become a tradition for boys golf, as they advance to the tournament for the eighth consecutive year. This win marks Academy’s twenty-fourth district title in program history.

The Vikings will make its debut in States at the Firestone Country Club on October 13 and 14.
