Tallying 69 points, the boys cross country team finished 2nd in the Central Buckeye League (CBL) on Saturday, October 5. The bright sun and sharp, wooded turns led to slower-than-usual times, but the boys raced well and placed high.

Dane C. led the way, clocking in at 17:18.26 for 4th. Forty-four seconds behind him was Chris H. in 6th, running 18:02.25. Henry S. and Giuseppe P. finished in 11th and 17th with respective times of 18:33.62 and 19:40.60. Rounding out the top five, Graham A. placed 32nd with 22:08.07.

Dane and Chris received First Team All-CBL, while Henry and Giuseppe earned Second Team. Congratulations to these athletes!

Before heading into postseason, the team will host a 2-mile Viking Invitational on Thursday, October 10, at 5:00 p.m. This is the sole home invitational, so be sure to show your support and cheer the runners on!
