On Thursday, September 12, boys golf traveled to the Denison Golf course for the third CBL Invitational. The Vikes shot a team score of 325, resulting in a last place finish. Jaxon C. captured the lowest score for Academy, shooting a 79. Krish B. trailed one behind, tallying an 80. Gavin M. and Alex S. earned scores of 81 and 85, respectively. 

The Vikings were back in action on Saturday, September 14, participating in the annual Mount Vernon Buzz Scramble. This tournament was for fun and it did not count towards their record. It was played as a scramble, meaning the Vikes worked together and used the best ball rather than playing individually. The boys placed 8th in the competition, shooting a 59. 

Looking ahead, Academy will host New Albany on Tuesday, September 17, for a scrimmage at the Columbus Country Club.
