Girls tennis started off this week dominating at Whitehall on Thursday August 29, winning 5-0.

The Vikes then moved on to beat Massiloln Jackson and Lexington on Saturday August 31. In the Massilion Jackson match, the team won 3-2. Ella T. placed first singles 6-3, 6-2. Mary P., and Sophie W. won 6-4, 6-4 in first doubles. Ela K. and Lara W. earned 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in second doubles, while Audrey L. lost 6-2, 6-1 as well as Alina L. who scored 6-3, 6-1.

On Saturday, the Vikings played against Lexington, winning 5-0. 

The team’s next match is a tough one against Columbus School for Girls, away, on Tuesday September 3.
