On Saturday, August 24, Academy’s girl’s soccer team faced off against Western Reserve Academy at 1 p.m. on Hondros Field. The Pioneers offense attacked without hesitation, marking the game’s first two shots. Taylor G. made an improbable save on a shot off the crossbar. In the first half, the Vikings surged ahead 2-0 with both goals coming from Haidi S. To start the second half, tensions were high on the Vikings sideline due to a series of questionable calls against them. Despite the adversity, Academy kept its foot to the floor. The Vikings topped the Pioneers 3-0 with Lily L. adding another goal on a tap-in. This win put the girls at 3-1

On Monday, August 26, the girls faced off against Hamilton Township, steamrolling the Rangers 3-1.

The following Wednesday, in an inter-conference matchup, the Vikings slid past Bishop Ready winning 1-0.

On Monday, the Vikings will return to Hondros to face Granville at 7 p.m. and travel to Franklin Heights on Wednesday for their 5:30 p.m. encounter.
