The boys cross country team launched its season at the Pickerington North Invitational on Saturday, August 24. 

Sophomore Andy B. led the charge, completing the 5000-meter course in 19:05.40 to secure 57th place. Giuseppe P. was on his heels, finishing 60th at 19:11.60. Junior Henry S. rounded out the top three, crossing the line in over 20 minutes for 106th place.

Freshmen Devin L., Ethan L., and Rohan N. made their high school debuts, competing alongside returning runners Luke K. and seniors Xander H.-V.

The Vikings placed 18th out of 20 teams.

They compete at the Highland Flying Scots Invitational on August 31.
