On Saturday, August 24, the girls golf team traveled to Darby Creek where they competed in the CBL mid-season tournament, finishing in first place with a team score of 334, led by Eva L. and Caroline Z., who each shot 72, securing a co-first place in the tournament. Claire Z. came next with a 94, followed by Rosemary J. with a 96. Izzy H. and Meera S. who shot 105 and 106 respectively, did not have their scores included in the final tallie.
The Vikings were back again on Sunday at Muirfield Village Golf Club for the Muirfield Invitational. Muirfield Village is the host of the Memorial Tournament and a top 15-rated golf course in the country. They placed third with a team score of 384. Caroline Z. paced the Vikes with a 83. Next came Eva L. with 84, followed by Rosemary J. with a 103, Claire Z. with a 114, and Ella T. with 119.
