On a chilly Tuesday afternoon, the Vikes traveled to rivals, Bishop Watterson, a team who has knocked Academy  out of the tournament multiple times in past years and winner of won the 2023 state championship. The game kicked off at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23. 

The game went back and forth and ended with a one goal advantage in favor of the Maroon and the  Grey, yet the Vikings fianlly captured the Eagles,  9-8. 

Following their big win, the team boarded the bus head to Cincinnati to battle Mariemont, the 2021 and 2022 state champs.

On Saturday, April 27. Morgan H. led in scoring with 6 goals. Goalie, Hannah S., held down the fort from the backfield making huge saves to win, 11-8.

The Vikings will return to action at DeSales on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m.
