Girls tennis honored its seniors on Tuesday, September 26, before its match against Wellington. CA then hosted Dublin Coffman on Wednesday, September 27, traveled to Avon on Friday, September 29, and played away against both Magnificat and Hawken on Saturday, September 30. 

The team recognized seniors Zaina A., Charlotte B., Yasemin B., Arya C., Malia C., and Grace P., and won 5-0 against the Jaguars.

The Vikes match against the Shamrocks came down to the wire when Arya C. lost 2-6, 4-6 at first singles and Tamanna A. fell 4-6, 5-7 at second singles. The girls pulled through on the other courts, with Yasemin B. winning 6-3, 6-4 at third singles, Grace P. & Gabby S. going 6-0, 6-1 at first doubles, and Malia C. & Sophie W. triumphing 6-1, 6-0 at second doubles. Academy found a similar result against the Eagles on Friday, going 3-2 with third singles (Gabby S.), first doubles (Yasemin B. & Arya C.), and second doubles (Malia C. & Sophie W.) becoming victorious.

The girls defeated the Blue Streak 4-1 on Saturday, with notable performances from Tammana A. (6-1, 6-1) at second singles, Gabby S. (6-0, 6-0) at third singles, and Malia C. & Sophie W. (6-0, 6-1) at second doubles. The Vikes finished out the week with a repeat 4-1 victory against the Hawks.

CA hosts Olentangy on Monday, October 2 at 4:30 p.m.
