Seniors gathered in their advisories on Tuesday, September 12, to write letters to their kindergarten buddies, a newer tradition since 2018 as a way for the seniors and kindergarteners to stay in contact despite their classrooms being so far apart. Senior and K-buddy coordinator, Milana B., with the help of Abbey Z., put together the K-buddy board which resides under the staircase in Dennett Hall. 

I have been looking forward to having a kindergarten buddy since I started at Academy in my freshman year. On Friday, August 25, my fellow senior Alaina W. and I met our kindergarten buddy, Quinn L-K. to play outside. Having only met Quinn at convocation, my letter writing is a great way for us to get to know each other. Now I can’t wait to read the letter Quinn wrote to me!
