Varsity baseball hosted the Bexley Lions on Thursday, April 8, with a 3-2 win. Captain Dylan R. thrusted the team forward with a complete game as pitcher and a 3 for 3 as a batter and scoring one run in the first inning, with Dominic D. and Theo F. making it home in the fifth.

Earlier in the week, the Vikings traveled to Whitehall-Yearling on Monday, April 3, where they blew out the Rams in a 24-0 shutout that ended in 4 innings due to the mercy rule system.

Academy hosted Whitehall-Yearling the next day on Tuesday, April 4, winning 17-1. But when Academy hosted West Jefferson on Saturday, April 8, it failed to score in the 9 innings and lost 4-0.

The team plays at home on Monday, April 10 for a rematch against Bexley at 5:15 p.m.
