GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance) Club and the Queer Affinity group prepared a table by the senior lounge with identity and ally stickers for National Coming Out Day on Tuesday, October 11.
This event celebrates and raises awareness for the LGBTQ+ community, as well as any people that feel comfortable coming out with this part of their identity.
Various US students stopped by to help cut out Pride stickers throughout the day, which featured the Progress Pride/Ally flag, Transgender Pride flag, Asexual Pride flag, Bisexual Pride flag, and Rainbow Pride flag among others.
As stated on the Pride Foundation website: we should all help in “bringing a better, safe, and more equitable world for LGBTQ+ people”.
