The boys golf team faced Grandview and Wellington at the Columbus Country Club on Tuesday, September 13. 

The Vikes had a 165 as a team, led by Stephen M. with a 31, then Jack W. with a 43, followed by Matthew F. with a 44. 

Featured in The Columbus Dispatch on September 14, Academy’s own Stephen M., explained his method for improving his game and his achievements: “The key is staying consistent and practicing every day, and not aimlessly practicing, actually working on what you need to work on swing-wise and improving your short game.” 

The boys concluded the week playing in the Upper Arlington Invitational at the Scioto Country Club on Saturday, September 17. The team scored 326 as a team, placing 8th in the tournament. 

The team competes in the MSL postseason tournament at the Denison Golf Club on Wednesday, September 21. Then the Vikes  face Dublin Jerome on Saturday, September 24 at the Tartan Fields Country Club.
