On Friday, October 22, the varsity football team finished off its regular season with a close loss at home against Whitehall.
After a scoreless first quarter, the Vikes grabbed the first points with a fumble forced by Jake Colodney and a recovery return for a touchdown by Ryne Whitt. Our boys continued their momentum with a 25-yard touchdown pass by Carter James to Parker Logan. The Rams then narrowed the gap with a touchdown of their own and an extra point to conclude the second quarter 7-12.
After no scores points in the third quarter, Whitehall secured another touchdown with 4 minutes left to win the game 13-12.
The Vikes will draw for playoffs and are tentatively scheduled to compete on Saturday, October 30.
