Coming back from a record-breaking year, the boys golf team was ready to take on the season in full force with a record 119-17.

To recap the season thus far; the boys have placed first in the two MSL tournaments, second at the Sycamore Invitational, fourth at the Worthington Christian Warrior Classic, third at York Challenge, third at the CA Shootout, and 2nd at Bexley’s Bob Darwin Tournament.

September 9, the boys fell short to Westerville Central at Clover Valley. They played in a best-ball match play format, losing 0.5-2.5.

On Saturday, September 11, the boys placed 3rd out of 24 teams at the St. Charles Tournament with a team total of 235. Russell Ahmed led with a 57 (+2). Because The Brookside Golf Club was under renovation, they played a shortened 14 holes.

The boys have a break this week, not having a match until Sunday, September 19. The boys will play in the Kiely Cup at Canterbury golf club.
