After returning from spring break, US students may be ready to think about their summer plans. Please consider volunteering this summer if you have not completed the 45 off-campus service hours required to graduate and/or want to help our community.
If you are undecided about a service site, visit the virtual Service Fair using the link below for suggestions. Due to the pandemic, Service Board Shapers have created short videos explaining their qualified service sites and their responsibilities.
The virtual Service Fair features the Broad Street Presbyterian Food Pantry, the Buddy Up Tennis/Sports, Dreams on Horseback, Flying Horse Farms, and Friendship CIrcle. Additional videos will be added soon such as PALS inclusive camp: https://sites.google.com/
After watching the Virtual Service Fair and discovering a service opportunity that sparks your interest, you are required to submit a Service Site Proposal for Service Board approval. Whether a proposal is submitted before Service Board’s last meeting of this school year on May 26 or over the summer, decisions are usually made within a week.
