With spring approaching, it may be a good time to purge your closet and remove outgrown clothing and consider recycling your school items ( especially boys’ pants) at CA’s Clothing Exchange Closet.
The 30-year-old Clothing Closet has evolved from its off-campus PACA origins to a closet stationed on campus, now managed by our Service Board. The Clothing Closet offers gently used clothing to all CA members at any time.
To ensure clothing is available, 15 US students helped senior Cydney Platt organize items. Volunteers gathered clothes from donation bins outside of Dr. Bundy’s office, the Nurses’ office, and near the MS the bus stop. Thanks to the industrious team, 100 items are now displayed in 50 bins in the Middle School.
MS and US students are welcome to select clothing at any time since the closet’s doors because the door will be unlocked. Over the break, the Clothing Closet will be temporarily relocated outside of Morris Hall so all of the CA family can visit it.
“The closet is always in need of and accepting donations, so please don’t hesitate to donate,” says Cydney Platt.
