Our girls soccer team went 2-0 this week, earning victories against top-ranked DeSales and Buckeye Valley.

On Monday, October 7, the Vikings pulled off a 1-0 away victory against a higher division team in the Stallions. Katie Schiano’21 scored the lone goal, and Sophie Spolter’22 held the fort on defensive with three saves.

Looking to ride the momentum, CA took on Buckeye Valley on Thursday, October 10, at home. The Vikes dominated offensively, with Anaiah Crockett’22, Annalise Grammel’20, and Schiano having a goal apiece, while Olivia Archibald’21 led the Vikes with two.

The Vikings will begin the postseason on Saturday, October 19, and look to go far in the state tournament.
