The CA boys lacrosse team wasted no time in returning to form after its first loss in three weeks, as the Vikings posted blowout wins over Pickerington North, Westerville North, and Gahanna Lincoln.
Academy hit the road for a matchup with Pickerington North on Monday, April 29, and hammered the Panthers, 17-8. Senior David Barren led the Vikes with 5 goals, and junior Andrew Swartz and freshman Zach White each had hat tricks in the victory.
CA then traveled to Westerville North on Thursday, May 2, and blew the doors off of the Warriors, 20-2. Senior Malcolm Klingbeil and White each tallied 4 goals, and senior Keenan Bellisari and junior Charlie Yaw both added hat tricks to power the Vikings.
Academy returned home on Saturday, May 4, and pummeled Gahanna Lincoln, 17-1. Klingbeil and Yaw scored 4 goals apiece, and Swartz logged a hat trick in another game that was never in doubt.
With the trio of wins, the Vikes have run their record to 12-3, and sit in prime position for favorable tournament seeding. CA will close its regular season by taking a trip to Granville on Tuesday, May 7, before hosting Senior Night against archrival Bexley on Thursday, May 9 and Bellbrook on Saturday, May 11.
