Academy’s baseball squad has had a rough start to the season with a current record of 1-4. The Vikes suffered hard-fought defeats in both of their matches this past week.

CA had its home opener against Pleasant on Thursday, April 11. The Vikings and Spartans duked it out, but the latter emerged victorious, and Academy lost 9-12.

Looking to rebound from this loss, the Vikings headed to Newark Catholic on Saturday, April 13. CA fought hard against the Green Wave and took the game to eight innings, but Newark beat our boys 6-5.

The Vikings look forward to a busy week on the road. They head to Worthington Christian on Monday, April 15, before facing them again in their only home game of the week on Wednesday, April 17. Rounding out the week, Academy heads to Heath on Friday, April 19, and London on Saturday, April 20.
