Our Vikes had an uneventful week, partially due to cancellations. The Striking Vikings started out the week on the wrong foot, with a January 23 rivalry loss to Bexley at HP Lanes, falling 1743-1540.
Vincent White Jr.’21 started off with a scorching first round of 162 points and followed it up with 123. Sophomore, Michael Hoffman was consistent per usual, with 130 and 139. Cole Leis’21 also had a strong showing, putting up 126 and 136. Senior Will Matthews scored 136 and 112. Finally, Ryan Reagan’22 had 98 and 141. Bexley’s Tyler Roberts was a problem, putting up 214 and 181.
The Lions did not have a girls team to send and compete against our Vikes.
The matches on Thursday, January 24, against Teays Valley were cancelled for both teams.
Our Vikes will look ahead to a Friday, February 1st match against Marion Franklin to get back on track.
