On Saturday, October 13, Columbus Academy upper schoolers gathered in the Dining Hall for the annual Homecoming dance.
With Halloween just a couple of weeks away, the 2018 Sophomore Committee chose a fitting “Haunted” Homecoming.
The walkway up to the Dining Hall building was transformed into a ghostly cemetery with cryptic tombstones and skulls. Inside, cobwebs lined the walls and candle lights flickered, creating an eerie atmosphere as students danced.
A fan-favorite song of the night was Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
The break room provided a spooky-themed Kahoot! trivia game. Exhausted dancers looking to rest briefly before returning to the dance floor enjoyed Halloween candy and sugar cookies.
A spooktacular, spine-tingling 2018 Haunted Homecoming will be one to remember!
