Volleyball wins at MSL. Lily Plaugher’21/Media

The volleyball squad had a great week, beating both Grandview Heights on Tuesday, October 9, and Whitehall-Yearling on Thursday, October 11.

Academy entered its game against the Bobcats with high hopes, as they had previously beaten Grandview Heights earlier in the season. Just like the last matchup, the game quickly swung in the Vikings’ direction, and they won a quick 3-0 game.

The Vikes finished their regular season by beating Whitehall-Yearling 3-0, and winning the MSL League title for the first time in Academy history.

The girls play sectionals at Fredricktown to play on Tuesday, October 16.
