Our CA golf team kept its momentum rolling with an October 3 victory at Districts. The match took place at the Denison Golf Club of Granville.

While taking on seven of the best teams in the state, the squad showed why our Academy Golf Program is one to be reckoned with.

Ali Khan’20 shot a scorching 72. He was feeling it the whole match, shooting a consistent 37 on the front nine and 35 on the back 9.

Matthew Cammeyer’20 and Kahmar Byers’20 both shot 77.

Griffin Mitchell’20 shot 78, and Russell Ahmed’22 shot 80. Mitchell heated up on the back 9, shooting a 36 following his front 9 score of 42, while Ahmed kept his scores consistent, first shooting a 39 and then following up with a 41.

Our Vikes will look to defend their state championship on Friday, October 12, and Saturday, October 13, at the OSU Scarlet course.
