All of Academy’s art classrooms were void of their teachers on Tuesday, September 12 because these teachers were at the Crane Outdoor Learning Center to plan the coming 2018 Arts Mania event.

Taking place only every other year, Arts Mania is a celebratory day in which students can explore and participate in an extensive spectrum of artistic media. 

The 2016 event featured a multitude of different guest artists, each eager to teach students about their work. Students participated in activities ranging from Bollywood dancing to the art of disc jockeying. Towards the end of the day, everyone assembled to show off some of their newly learned crafts.

This year, Arts Mania is scheduled to take place on February 14, 2018. Similar to last time, it will be in the earlier part of the day, followed by a talent show. Forthcoming will be this year’s theme and event details

The 2018 Arts Mania will undoubtedly be as exciting at the last one, and it has always expressed Academy’s values in learning from many arts.
