Golf Impresses Again

The golf team has been rolling through its tough schedule and looks to continue its success as postseason looms.

On Thursday, September 14, Academy barely edged out Wellington with a final score 157-164 at the Columbus Country Club. 

The Vikes’ lowest,Kahmar Byers’20, shot an impressive 36. Additionally, to Byers’s performance earned him a spot as a co-medalist.

On Saturday, September 16, the boys traveled to Denison University for the Rodney Butt Invitational. It was an intense day of competition, and the Vikings finished tied for second overall. 

Academy has only two matches remaining in the regular season. 

They take on Marysville at Clover Valley on Tuesday, September 19.  

Their final duel is against Upper Arlington at Scioto Country Club on Saturday, September 23.
