The boys golf team came one step closer to its goal of state champs on Tuesday, September 27. After winning their sectional tournament, the boys will be moving onto Districts along with Bishop Hartley and Lakewood.

Freshman Ali Khan led the team with a score of 76, with junior co-captain Cole Walter following right behind him with a 78. Despite frigid weather in the morning and heavy winds in the afternoon, the team pulled out a win by six strokes over Hartley.

The district tournament is on Wednesday, October 5th, at Apple Valley Golf Course.
