Courteey/CA STUCO)
Organized by STUCO, Intramural Games have become a delightful staple on Lazarus Courtyard, where NFL anthems blare during lunch as students attempt to build a team before the deadline. Chatbots become the tie-breaking vote on the final team name, as classmates gather to watch various triumphs and defeats.
Intramurals give students opportunities to connect over a shared love for a sport in a light-hearted environment. Soccer, now in its fifth year, runs in partnership with the CASA affinity group. Last year, flag football was added and is one of the most sought-after trophies.
. Abby G. has never played soccer, but competed for Barbados Ballers FC in the early fall. She said, “I really enjoyed being able to try out soccer and get to know the sport better. I have always wanted to see what the hype was all about, and getting to play with my friends made it ten times better. Who knows, maybe you will see me on Hondros next fall!”
From ultimate frisbee to basketball, they are a definitive STUCO success. As the tradition continues to grow, intramurals remain memories outside the classroom
