Girls X-C shone in the Don Hardin Invitational against eight other teams, placing second with 67 points.

Claire C., Maryam C., and Livia P. placed in the top 20 and contributed to the team’s performance.

“The course had a lot of hills,” said Claire H. “There was a steep one in the woods, and a lot of gravel paths, so it wasn’t our favorite, but the top five girls all had 10 to 70 second improvements in their personal records.”

The team ran in the Panther X-C Invitational at Pickerington North on September 26 and placed 20th out of 34 teams, with 509 points. (The boys placed 27th out of 37 teams, with 710 points.) Claire C. and Livia P. placed in the top 100 out of 401 runners. Giuseppe P. placed in the top 100 out of 475.

This team celebrates its seniors at home on October 6.
