Seniors walked in hand with their K-Buddies to Hondros for this year’s first pep rally, ready to take down the Bexley Lions.

Instead of hearing the echoes of Vikings from all divisions inside the Mack, everyone brought the same energy, stomping on the bleachers in harmony with the band, as Vlad (Anthony P.)and Vicky’s (Kendall O. and Harper B.) hyped up the already rambunctious crowd. 

The rally was Mario-themed and began with a Mario Kart Relay.

Next, a group of teachers dueled against Michael T., Ray P., and two lower and middle schoolers and two lower schoolers in a tug-of-war, with the students steaming past faculty for the win. 

Pool Noodle Hockey concluded the competitions with student teams battling against each other. 

“Seeing everyone get together for a community event really warmed my heart. The atmosphere and energy made it very enjoyable for my friends and me,” said Rehan A., a hockey participant.  

Pep rallies never fail to unify our community and create an electrifying atmosphere, as Vikings from all divisions and beyond our campus came together and enjoyed the ambience at the Charlie David dinner later in the evening.

Vikings in the stands channeled the same energy throughout the game, as the football team clinched a 20-0 victory on the gridiron against the Bexley Lions.
