On Monday, April 27, the boys lacrosse team hosted Westerville North and celebrated nine players for its Senior Night. After the ceremony, the Vikings played the Warriors until the second half, ending with a 4-3 score. Due to bad weather, the second half of the game was postponed to Friday, May 8.

On Wednesday, April 29, the team traveled to Jonathan Alder for a “top of the league match-up,” as Parker V. called it. The Vikes scored four goals in the first quarter and slipped in three more before the end of the half, letting in one opposing goal. In the second half, Academy struggled, letting in four Pioneer goals. Both teams scored another goal in the 4th quarter, ending the game, 8-6.

On Thursday, April 30, the Vikes hosted the Lincoln Lions. The team found its footing early, scoring three goals against the Lions in the first quarter while only letting in two. The Vikes let in two more goals without scoring. In the second half, the Viking defense struggled to hold its ground, letting in five more goals, only slipping in two. The game ended with a final score of 5-9 Lions.

The boys will host Bexley on Tuesday, May 5, travel to Pickerington North on Saturday, May 7, and play their second half against Westerville North on Friday, May 8.
