The girls lacrosse team competed in three matchups this week, winning handily in each of them, improving their record to 3-2 for the season and outscoring their opponents 49-8.
On Tuesday, April 7, the squad hosted the Wellington Jaguars, where they were dominant in a 16-1 victory. Goal scorers included Camille B., Lexi F., Caroline M., Katie N., Bebe S., Kendal S., and Katie W.
The girls played the Bishop Hartley Hawks on April 9, winning at 19-2. Vikings who scored include Camille B., Lexi F., Caroline M., Katie N., Bebe S., Kendal S., and Katie W.
On Friday, April 10, the Vikings hosted the Lincoln Lions on Hondros Field, and they were victorious once again. The Maroon and Grey outplayed the Lions by winning 14-5. Some of the goal scorers for the Vikes were Camille B., Lexi F., Caroline M., Katie N., Bebe S., Kendal S., and Katie W.
Kyndal S. says, “I think our team did great, winning all of our games last week. They helped us get better and work on the fundamentals. I’m really excited for the rest of the season because I think we’ll do well.”
The team will host two matches next week. On Tuesday, April 14, the team will host the Buckeye Valley Barons at 7 P.M. On Saturday, April 18, the girls will play the Indian Hill Braves from Cincinnati at 12 P.M. at home once again.
