Academy’s hockey team had an unfortunate stretch of games last week, dropping all three games.

The week opened with a difficult matchup against Worthington Kilbourne on Friday, January 30, as the Vikes struggled to create any chances, falling 10–0. 

The two teams met again on Saturday January 31. Despite the outcome being the same, the Vikes scored some points on the board to give the team some life. Although they created some offense, two goals were not enough to keep up with the dominant KilBourne offense, as the Vikes fell 10-2. 

Academy closed out the week against St. Charles on January 31. The Vikings stayed within reach all game, generating some offensive power while battling into the later stages of the game but came up short of the win with a 6–3 loss.

The Vikes return to the ice on February 11.
