Our boys and girls cross-country teams competed in regionals at Pickerington North on Saturday, October 26, racing for a spot at the state championships. The boys finished 8th out of 23 teams, led by standout runs from captains Dane C., who clocked in at 16:58, and Chris H., who followed at 17:04. Regarding the team’s performance, Chris said, “I am proud of the way the team came together and battled hard today.” On the girls side, Claire C. led the charge with a 34th-place finish in 21:10, while Livia P. was right behind in 36th.

Senior Miranda B-Y. said , “The girls had so much fun running at regionals today and can’t wait to compete at the state meet next weekend!” 

Fortress Obetz will host states on Saturday, November 1. The boys run at 10:30 a.m., the girls start 12 p.m.
