Field hockey concluded its season on Tuesday, October 22, in a 3-1 loss to Upper Arlington, finish its season with a 12-6 record. The Golden Bears will advance to the fourth round of the playoffs to face Bishop Watterson.

The Golden Bears opened the game with a first quarter goal, followed by two in the second. Academy midfielder, Katie N., scored the Vikes lone goal in the third quarter. From there, it was a back and forth battle that culminated with the Golden Bears victory.

“It was super sad to end our season, but I’m proud of how our team played. Despite being down two going into the third, we still fought the entire game and never lost our energy and grit,” says senior captain, Caroline M.

Caroline, Bebe S, and Katie N all received first team All Central Honors. Bebe will continue her playing career at University of Pennsylvania.
