On Thursday, October 16, girls soccer kicked off its postseason with an 8-0 sweep against River Valley, securing them a spot in sectional finals. Starting off strong, leading scorer, Sydney S., dribbled to the goal and found the net four times with Addison M. close behind, kicking in two more goals. Lexi F. and ChiChi N. also earned the Vikes two points, finishing 8-0. Harper B-M. says, “We are very happy with the results, but looking forward, we are working hard on the field to prepare us for the following weeks.”

The team’s five-game win streak will be challenged as they take on Buckeye Valley on Tuesday, October 21, for a spot at districts.
