Boys soccer traveled to Northridge to face off against out-of conference opponent, Tree of Life Christian Academy, on September 30, for its only match of the week. From the get-go, the Trojans controlled the pace of play and scored early to make it a 1-0 game. Junior Brandon H. said, “We just came out flat.” And the Vikes did lack energy. The Trojans had no mercy for us as they continued to add fuel to the fire piling on five more goals to Academy’s zero.
The Vikings suffered a 6-0 loss in a game that could have been a key momentum builder and a chance to secure back-to-back wins.
This dropped the team to a record of 2-12, as it looks to take on Bishop Watterson on the October 6.
