On Saturday, September 28, the cross-country teams raced in the Panther Invitational at Pickerington North. In the boys race, of 39 schools – Fairfield Union came out on top. Academy placed 11th, with Chris H. clocking in 17:37 and placing 52nd and Dane C. coming in 34th. Our girls finished 21st out of 33 schools. Claire C. came in 52nd, timing in at 21:38.

The Vikings compete again on Tuesday, September 31, also celebrating their Senior Night. After that, the teams compete in the CBL championships on Saturday, October 4. Senior Chris H. said, “We are going to train as hard as ever for Senior Night, and there’s no better way to represent Academy than to go out and win it all”.
