The girls golf Vikes had another dominant week this week, clinching the CBL title on Tuesday, September 16, and also defeating CGS in a nine hole match on Wednesday, September 17.
The girls traveled to Raymond Memorial to participate in the third, and final CBL tournament of the season. They came into the round with a 2-0 record in CBL matches this year, and a team score of 304 handed them the clean sweep.
Eva L. led the squad with a 69, giving her medalist honors. Nala C. finished runner up with a 71. Claire Z. and Meera S. both scored 82 respectively to round out the top four scores. Their total of 304 beat the CSG Unicorns by 53.
The team returned the next day to compete in a nine-hole match against CSG at Blacklick Woods. Eva led the way with 36, Meera S. followed with 38. Ava H. fired 41, and Claire Z. shot 44. The Vikes came in with 159, besting CSG who combined for a score of 189.
The girls begin their post season on Wednesday, September 24, at Darby Creek Golf in the sectional tournament.
