The boys golf team won their second CBL title in three years on Tuesday, September 16, at Darby Creek. The Vikes were tied with Buckeye Valley for first in the league heading into Tuesday. A season best 305 handed the boys the victory, which beat Buckeye Valley’s 311.

Krish B. led with a 75, followed by Nico M. and Jack W. with a pair of 76’s. Jaxon C. rounded out the top four with 78. Jack W. says, “It’s so cool to win the CBL, especially after not winning last year.” 

The boys competed again on Saturday, September 20, in the Bishop Watterson Invite at Clover Valley. The team shot 329, led by Jack W., Krish B., and Nico M. with 82’s. Jaxon C. shot 83 and Dani U. finished with 86.

The team starts its post season on Wednesday, September 24, when at Denison.
