The boys golf team headed to Scioto Country Club on Saturday, September 13, to compete in the Upper Arlington Invitational. Thus club is an extremely historic, and incredible golf course that is home to the legendary Jack Nicklaus. Senior Jack W. says, “It was such an honor to be able to play at a course like Scioto. The course was unbelievable,and has so much history. We can’t thank the Scioto and Upper Arlington golf team enough for having us out”.
The Vikes shot a 332 which placed them twelfth overall and second among Division II teams.
Jack W., and Jaxon C. led the Vikings and each accounted for a pair of 79’s. Next up were Krish B. who came in an 80, and Nico M. who finished with a 94. Dani U. posted an 84, but the Vikes could not count the score due to a scoring issue following the round.
The boys look to capture the CBL title on Tuesday, September 16, at Darby Creek as they face off in the final CBL match of the year.
