On Wednesday, April 30, the boys lacrosse team hosted Jonathan Alder. The Vikings and Pioneers went back and forth, exchanging goals throughout the first half, with the first quarter ending 2-2 and the second quarter ending 3-3. Post halftime, Academy stole the lead, outscoring the Pioneers 2-1 in the third quarter. But the victory was short-lived as Jonathan Alder bounced back in the final quarter, tallying two goals while the Viking went scoreless, resulting in a 5-6 loss for Academy.
The boys were scheduled to play Gahanna Lincoln on May 1, but the teams canceled it due to weather.
The Vikings were back on Saturday, May 3, as they travelled to Cincinnati to face off against Indian Hill. Academy dominated, outscoring the Braves in every quarter. Graham J. and Parker S. headed the Vikings offense, scoring a majority of the goals. The game ended in a 12-3 victory for the Vikes.
The boys travel to Bexley on Tuesday, May 6, and then to De Sales on Friday, May 9.
