The Lower School hosted its art show this Wednesday, April 23, with art teachers Kenny Abraham and Jenny Cann featuring art from the three-year old explorers the through the fifth grade students. 

There were two themes displayed during the event. The first was Wayne Theibaud, who is known for his paintings of cakes, pies, pastries, and other delicious treats. The other theme was “All Up in the Air,” which featured sculptures with negative space or air space, sky portraits and landscapes, balloons, and umbrellas. More than 300 parents and friends attended the opening. Abraham looks forward to a “bigger and better” art show in the coming years. It is a great way for students to get to show parents and teachers the hard work they’ve been putting in throughout the school year to create these amazing pieces.
