Next on Academy’s list was a rivalry game at Bexley on Wednesday, April 23, which was close  throughout as Dominic, Theo, and Trey fought to keep Academy close. But the Lions claimed the edge in a 4-5 loss for Academy.

Academy hosted Bexley the next day on Thursday, April 24, looking for revenge, starting the game hot and preserving their momentum throughout. Dominic, Theo, Harmon, Joey, Anthony, Trey, Sunil, and Thomas R. all contributed towards Academy’s dominant 11-1 victory over the Lions.

Baseball closed its week with a face-off against Heath on Saturday, April 26. The Vikings failed to match the Bulldogs scores, falling 8-1. Dominic scored Academy’s sole run.

Academy faces another packed week as it plays Bishop Ready on Monday, April 28 and then Bishop Ready again on Wednesday, April 30. The Vikes play Bishop Hartley on Thursday, May 1, Franklin Heights on Friday, May 2, and close out the week  against Newark Catholic on Saturday, May 3.
