Girls Track Competes at Worthington Christian

On Tuesday, April 22, the Vikings raced against Bexley, Grove City Christian, Madiston Christian, and Worthington Christian and placed fourth overall with 63.16 points.

Some highlights from the meet were Mila B. claiming first place in the 100m sprint, 4th place in the 100m hurdles, and second in the 300m hurdles. Additionally, Morgan S. achieved first place in the 200m and 400m sprints. Lizzie B. placed 6th in the 800m run, while Clara S., Claire C., and Miranda B-Y. placed 4th, 5th, and 6th, respectively in the 1600m run. Melanie Q. achieved first place in the 3200m run. 

In field events, Morgan and Lizzie scored first and second place respectively in the high jump. Additionally, Alisha A. claimed second in long jump. In the 4x800m relay, the team of Melanie, Claire, Clara, and Miranda claimed third.

The Vikings next meet is on Friday, May 2 at Fredericktown.
