Girls lacrosse enjoyed a strong week, with wins against Bay Village and Granville, and a close loss to powerhouse Desales. The Vikings are now 6-6 on the season. The team began the week welcoming Bay Village, last year’s state runner up, to Hondros. The Vikes made light work of the Rockets, winning 19-10.

Next up was Granville, who the Vikes dismantled 19-3 due in part to a 5-goal performance from Kyndall S.

The team finished the week on Saturday, taking on St. Francis Desales at home. The Stallions are a top team in the state, yet the Vikes proved their skill by going toe-to-toe with them until the very end, losing 9-10.

The Vikes travel to Dublin Jerome on Monday, April 28, followed by Bishop Hartley on Thursday, May 1. Academy concludes the week at home against Hathaway Brown on Saturday, May 3.
